Minor Miracle Naturalistic Winged Serpent Pendant in Gold, Sterling, and Moonstone
Sterling winged serpent with 24kt gold Keum Boo overlay to create silver and gold patterns on the wings. This serpent pendant features a faceted blue moonstone held within the curves of it's form. Suspended on a sterling 18" chain.
A blend of earth and air, the winged serpent is a symbol of sweeping change. Evoking lightness, and airy transcendence, this piece is meant to bring quiet peace and assuredness to the wearer. To believe in the impossible, is to believe that magic is all around us.
Almost all ancient traditions see the snake as a symbol of rebirth and regeneration, growth and higher consciousness. When worn, a winged serpent is a powerful talisman rooted in the firm desire for a glittering new future ahead.
Minor Miracle is a variation of the 7 Impossible Things design originally created for the Penland School benefit auction to create a permanent scholarship fund for bipoc students. I am very proud to say that our collective of artisans, both resident artists and past students reached our goal! Nothing is truly impossible.
Artist's Note: The work I bring to you is conceived and created entirely in my Asheville, North Carolina studio. It is infused with inspiration from my deep connection and appreciation of Nature, combined with my curiosity, and a desire to honor the balance of dark and light within each of us. Each piece I craft reflects quality, artisanship, and just a touch of magic.
