Snakes are the ultimate symbol of rebirth regeneration and adaptability, a favorite symbol of strength and cunning, used for centuries to denote wise counsel and a well of knowledge. Dragon's Breath is a type of glass popular with mystics and seers of the 1920s and 30s. The drops flash from raspberry pink to cherry red with highlights of cobalt blue and were sometimes marketed as Red Opal. These drops are dead stock from a long since shuttered jewelry company in NY.
Artist's Note: The work I bring to you is conceived and created entirely in my Asheville, North Carolina studio. It is infused with inspiration from my deep connection and appreciation of Nature, combined with my curiosity, and a desire to honor the balance of dark and light within each of us. Each piece I craft reflects quality, artisanship, and just a touch of magic.
