Large Quadruple Snake Necklace in Sterling with Rainbow Obsidian
Historically I have only created the quadruple serpent pendant by custom request, and I am delighted to have one available for purchase. This pendant has an intense peacock eye of Rainbow Obsidian with concentric rings of green and purple, the intense color-play shows best in strong light, in lower lighting it appears to be a deep dark stone. Please see all images for best representation of colors and size when worn. this is not a small pendant but a true focal piece.
My love of snakes is rooted in their ability to shed their skin, to become shiny and seemingly new as a natural part of their growth. Like many historical mythologists, I see them as a symbol of rebirth, regeneration and change. The image of the serpent is a powerful protection charm, and a natural talisman when worn as jewelry.
