Bone Hoop and Salem Cross Earrings
Sterling silver bone hoop earrings created with anatomically correct castings of the rib and toe bones of North American mink. A Sterling hoop holds a Salem Cross, an early 12th century symbol of the Knights Templar, more recently called the Baphomet Cross.
Cast in either pure sterling silver or shibuichi (a Japanese alloy of copper blended with silver giving a slightly warmer tone), this piece has been darkly patinaed, polished, and sealed. Scroll through images to compare metal difference, it is very subtle.
Hoop measures 2" across
