Description: Large ceramic Dalmation made in Italy late 1960s for Meiselman Importers who were active in NY in the mid to late 1960s. This good looking ceramic dog is roughly the size of a large Whippet, smaller than an actual Dalmation, but no walking required. Cute red patent collar, faded and original. Meiselman Importers contracted with small high quality Italian potteries and retailed their items through Gumps, Saks and Neiman Marcus. An excellent household companion!
